Giving Back to the Burn Community

From the Office of Jim Pauley, NFPA President & CEO Dear NFPA Standards Committee Member: As an NFPA Committee member, we deeply value the time, dedication, and commitment you contribute to NFPA and its standards development process. Your professional expertise, insights, and input play an invaluable role in protecting people and property from fire and other hazards. To thank you for your participation as a committee member and an individual dedicated to making the world a safer place to live, work and play, NFPA has made a $50,000 donation to the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors on behalf of you and all NFPA Committee members. This donation will be used to support the Society’s World Burn Congress taking place October 4-7 in National Harbor, Maryland. NFPA’s long-standing support of the Phoenix Society and its World Burn Congress is steadfast for one simple reason - the work they do to serve burn survivors and the entire burn community is essential to building a safer world. They do it by promoting life-long healing, optimal recovery and burn prevention. World Burn Congress is an incredibly inspiring and transformational event. Our sponsorship in your honor further advances our mission and that of the Phoenix Society. We are pleased to do this in recognition of your passion, hard work and exemplified commitment to safety. Thank you again for your immeasurable contributions to NFPA. You can learn more about World Burn Congress and the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors at www.phoenixsociety.org. Sincerely, Jim Pauley President/CEO, NFPA
